Checking in and Moving FORWARD

It has been awhile since my last blog.  The last few months have been a challenge, but what is new?  Is there anyone who has not been challenged with something?  Well, if you haven’t you are very blessed and fortunate.  Recently my brother has been ill and I asked for your prayers.  This has been going on for several weeks.  I spoke with Nathaniel on Thanksgiving as he was hanging out with Steve Lopez and his family for dinner.  It broke my heart because he sounded so weak and like he was in pain.  Since then he was admitted into the hospital and after a few days he is doing better.  In fact I was able to reach him by phone today!  He sounded much better, but just a little irritated.  I will take that over how he sounded on Thanksgiving any day.

It may not sound like much, but I am relieved that he is back to where he calls home and I am extremely grateful to all those who responded to my request for prayers.

There is so much work to be done as it relates to mental health and no matter what I do it never seems to be enough, so I will keep forging forward, with hope that others will join me on this journey to help all “HEAR the MUSIC” and STOP STiGMA!

SOMEHOW, SOMEWAY, SOMEDAY…

MOVING FORWARD!
